CSTO PA international observers arrived in Bishkek and began monitoring the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic

At the invitation of the Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, on October 3, a group of international observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization arrived in Bishkek and began monitoring the elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The group of international observers includes representatives of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States: the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan. The work of observers is coordinated by Konstantin Zatulin, a member of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation, deputy Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

International observers from the CSTO PA plan to meet with representatives of the election headquarters of the parties taking part in the election campaign and with Nurzhan Shayldabekova, Chairwoman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic.
