CONCLUSION of the group of international observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly
In accordance with the decision of Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO PA Council and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and at the invitation of Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the group of observers from the CSTO PA monitored the early parliamentary election in Kazakhstan.
The observers concluded that the election had been organized and conducted in full conformity with the electoral legislation of Kazakhstan.
Voters were free to make up their opinion about the candidates and express their will. Turnout at polling stations was high and free.
Observers from political parties and public organizations were present at all polling stations visited by the group.
The new model of formation of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan will allow for greater protection of voters’ interests at the national and regional levels.
The results of observation are reflected in the Opinion of the Group of International Observers.
