Kazakh Defence Minister and CSTO Secretary General discussed the 2021–2022 Collective Forces exercise plan
Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, received Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General.
According to Kazinform news agency with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the meeting addressed the implementation of tasks in the priority areas proposed by the Republic of Tajikistan for the duration of its CSTO presidency, as well as the Action Plan on the Implementation of the Decisions of the Collective Security Council Session.
Lieutenant General Nurlan Yermekbayev and Stanislav Zas discussed the 2021–2022 plan of exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
In 2021, the main exercises are planned to be held on the territory of Tajikistan. It was noted that in 2022 exercises Vzaimodeistvie (“Interaction”), Poisk (“Search”) and Eshelon (“Echelon”) will be held on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
