Model Acts of the CSTO PA for the Ministry of Emergency Situations Discussed in Moscow

On January 23, Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, met with Lieutenant General Aleksei Serko, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters. Mikhail Krotov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the CSTO PA, took part in the meeting. 

In the course of the meeting they discussed issues related to creation of model legislation, participation in military exercises to practice cooperation in emergency situations, as well as the priority declared by Kazakhstan in the framework of its CSTO chairmanship concerning cooperation in the elimination of emergency situations.

The CSTO Parliamentary Assembly has adopted more than ten model bills regarding the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
