Observers noted the high degree organization of the elections in rural areas
Mukhtar Djumagaziyev, a representative of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
I visited three polling stations in Yerevan, one in the town of Artashat, and then I was interested to find out how the election campaign was going in the villages of the Republic of Armenia.
I would like to note that everywhere I observed normal conditions for voting were created. The precinct commissions are aware of their functional responsibilities. I liked that there was order in the villages. It was obvious that local executive bodies had created all conditions for voters and members of precinct election commissions to vote and to work properly.
Signposts were in place and people knew where to go. They did not waste time looking for it. That is why I think that the heads of rural settlements approached the organization very responsibly. However, no matter where we go, the villages retain the respectful mentality and approach. And they took the elections more responsibly. And the turnout in the villages, as compared to the city, is higher.
And in the villages, the festive mood at the elections is still felt more than in the city. The mood there is warmer, and so is the attitude to the elections and to the observers.
