CSTO PA observers work at Moscow polling stations

International observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization continue their work at precinct election commissions in Moscow and Moscow oblast, visiting precinct election commissions, for example, in Reutov.
At the PECs that CSTO PA observers visited today, September 19, 2021, they note a high level of security and observance of sanitary measures.
At the polling stations they talk to Moscow residents and observers from parties and candidates.
As of 10:45 a.m. Moscow time, CSTO PA observers have received no information about any violations.
In conversations with observers, voters note that they find the three-day voting format convenient. International observers from the CSTO PA are working today at the precinct election commissions in Moscow and Moscow oblast from the moment of opening until the end of the vote counting. PECs where CSTO PA observers were present opened on time, at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time.
The group of observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly consists of representatives of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States: the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the observer to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly – the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The group is coordinated by Arman Kozhakhmetov, Сhairman of the Committee on Legislation and Judicial and Legal Reform of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
