CSTO PA observers held a series of meetings with party candidates running for the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan on campaign silence day

On January 9 in Nur-Sultan, CSTO PA international observers held a series of meetings with candidates for the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the offices of all parties taking part in the election campaign.

Representatives of the parties briefed international observers on party programmes and shared their vision for further development of parliamentarism in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 12:00 a.m. (Nur-Sultan time) on Saturday, January 9, according to the legislation, there is a day of campaign silence when any campaigning in support of any political parties is forbidden. It also extends to the day of voting.
