Nurbek Satvaldiev: Implementation of the heads of the CTSO States’ decisions is a priority
Nurbek Satvaldiev, deputy Secretary General of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, during the working meeting between plenipotentiary representatives of the CSTO Member States to the CSTO and plenipotentiary representatives of the CSTO Member States’ parliaments to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly recalled the initiative voiced at the CSTO Collective Security Council session in Dushanbe in September 2021.
Taking part in the working meeting remotely from Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), Nurbek Satvaldiev appealed to the participants of the meeting to take the initiative into consideration, saying “I would like to urge my colleagues to legalize the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly so that it had a permanent Statute by the 30th anniversary of our states’ independence and the 2022 anniversary events, the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.”
The working meeting was attended by Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General; Sergei Pospelov, CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Executive Secretary and head of the CSTO PA Secretariat; Samat Ordabaev, deputy CSTO Secretary General; permanent representatives of the CSTO Member States to the CSTO and representatives of the CSTO Member States’ parliaments to the Organization’s Parliamentary Assembly.
