On February 4, CSTO Secretariat hosted a meeting between Imangali Tasmagambetov, CSTO Secretary General, and Ularbek Sharsheev, Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), discussing a number of important issues affecting joint activities of the organizations.
In particular, they touched upon the issues of combating terrorism and other manifestations of extremism at the national, regional and global levels.
The parties agreed to continue active cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as financing of terrorism.
