CSTO conducted a business modelling of normalization of the situation in Central Asian region
The CSTO Secretariat is summing up proposals received during the business game that is taking place from September 29 to October 2 at the CSTO Crisis Response Centre.
According to the press service of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the joint business game using a non-public videoconferencing system is held by the CSTO Secretariat, the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and task forces of concerned ministries and agencies of the CSTO Member States.
At the first stage of the business game, the CSTO Member States consult and develop a set of political and diplomatic measures to normalize the situation in the Central Asian region of collective security based on a simulated situation created during the game, taking into account the situation in Afghanistan.
In case of aggravation of the military and political situation in the region, there can be a second stage of the business game to generate proposals on the use of forces and assets of the CSTO collective security system.
