Observers of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) attended today, on January 10, 2021, the opening of polling stations in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
On January 10, a referendum and presidential election is underway in the Kyrgyz Republic, while in Kazakhstan, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic and deputies of local maslikhats are being elected.
The polling stations in the cities of Nur-Sultan (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) opened on time. CSTO PA observers are currently monitoring the voting process at polling stations in both capitals.
