The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia adopted the Union State budget for 2020.

Today the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia adopted the Union State budget for 2020 at a plenary session.
The Union State budget revenues in 2020 will exceed RUB 5.5 billion, while expenditures will approximately amount to RUB 5.3 billion.
Vyacheslav VOLODIN, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, congratulated the deputies on the voting results: “Much work has been done. I would like to thank our colleagues, those who were engaged as part of the budget commission in preparing this issue.”
Over 86% of budget expenditures will finance 11 programmes, two projects and 25 events.
In 2020, the Union State budget surplus will amount to RUB 144.4 million.
