CSTO Mission’s advance team will fly to Armenia on September 15
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has begun implementing its agreement reached during the September 13 extraordinary session of the Collective Security Council – to send a CSTO mission to the Republic of Armenia to assess the current situation in certain areas on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the advance team of the Mission, headed by Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, will fly to Armenia on September 15.
Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General and head of the CSTO Mission, plans to travel to Armenia next week.
The Mission will consist of representatives of CSTO Member States working in the CSTO Secretariat and military personnel of the CSTO Joint Staff.
