Piskarev: CSTO Security Committees Will Actively Cooperate on Legislative Approximation
On September 5, at a meeting of CSTO parliamentarians with Valery Mitskevich, deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Vasily Piskarev, Chairman of the Committee on Security and Corruption Control of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, proposed to expand cooperation between the security committees of the CSTO Member States.
Vasily Piskarev noted that the joint meetings will actively discuss specific legislative initiatives to harmonize the legislation of the CSTO countries.
As you may recall, today, on September 5, Minsk hosts a session of the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the CSTO PA Council.
