CSTO Permanent Council and CSTO PA Secretariat coordinate implementation of heads of state’s decisions

Cooperation between the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on the implementation of decisions of the CSTO Collective Security Council, as well as ways to enhance cooperation were discussed at a working meeting between the plenipotentiary representatives of the CSTO Member States headed by Viktor Biyagov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the CSTO, and plenipotentiary representatives of parliaments of the CSTO Member States to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. The meeting took place in St Petersburg with some members participating remotely.
Meeting participants included Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General; Sergei Pospelov, CSTO PA Executive Secretary and head of the CSTO PA Secretariat; Viktor Biyagov, Chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the CSTO; Samat Ordabaev, deputy CSTO Secretary General; Vyacheslav Remenchik, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the CSTO; Zhanybek Imanaliev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the CSTO Permanent Council; Mirlan Turgunbekov, Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the CSTO; Mikael Agasandyan, Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation to the CSTO and Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; Khasan Sultonov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO and Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation; Hayk Chilingaryan, deputy Secretary General of the CSTO PA and Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia; Viktor Kogut, deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS and representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the IPA CIS and the CSTO PA; Viktor Rogalev, deputy Executive Secretary of the CSTO PA and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Nurbek Satvaldiev, deputy Secretary General of IPA CIS and representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic to the IPA CIS and CSTO PA; Mikhail Krotov, deputy Executive Secretary of the CSTO PA and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; and Bakhtovar Safarzoda, deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS and representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan to the IPA CIS and the CSTO PA.
