Serbian Ambassador Conveyed the Speaker’s Gratitude to the CSTO Members for Their Participation in Election Monitoring

Momčilo Babić, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation, addressed the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly meeting.

“The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia has observer status in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and is represented in this friendly organization by a five-member delegation. I am convinced that in the new convocation of the National Assembly we will not only continue such cooperation, but we will strengthen it even more,” Momčilo Babić said. 

The Ambassador also conveyed the words of gratitude of Vladimir Orlić, Speaker of the Parliament, to the international observers of the CSTO PA for their work at the extraordinary parliamentary elections in the Republic of Serbia. 

According to Vyacheslav Volodin, CSTO PA Chairman and Speaker of the State Duma, the observer mission from the Assembly, which worked at the early parliamentary elections in Serbia, described them as open, competitive and legitimate.
