CSTO Standing Council condemns terrorist attack in Kabul
The Standing Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization adopted a statement in connection with the terrorist attack near the building of the Russian Federation Embassy in Kabul.
“The Standing Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed on September 5 near the building of the Russian Federation Embassy in Kabul,” the statement reads. “The Standing Council expresses deep condolences in connection with the death of two employees of the Russian Federation Embassy and Afghan civilians and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.”
The statement expresses the hope that a thorough and prompt investigation “will lead to the identification and punishment of all those responsible and involved in the planning and execution of this inhumane act.”
“The Standing Council reaffirms its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and stresses the need to unite the efforts of the global community to eradicate this threat,” the statement reads.
