Vyacheslav Volodin, CSTO PA Chairman, awarded Russian State Duma deputies for their work in the Assembly

At the plenary session of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, decorated deputies with the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly’s awards.
Medals for Strengthening Parliamentary Cooperation in the CSTO were awarded to Anatoly Vyborny, Chairman of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security, deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Corruption Control; Leonid Kalashnikov, member of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; and Vladimir Shamanov, former Chairman of the Coordination Council of Chairpersons of Committees (Commissions) on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the CSTO PA Council, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Development of Civil Society, Issues of Public Associations and Religious Organizations of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Certificates of Merit of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization were solemnly presented to Konstantin Zatulin, first deputy Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who worked in the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation; Zurab Makiev, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Small and Medium Enterprises of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who worked in the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Socioeconomic and Legal Issues; Dmitry Novikov, member of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation, first deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; and Vasily Piskarev, member of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security, Chairman of the Committee on Security and Corruption Control of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
As you may recall, the CSTO PA Medal and Certificate of Merit are awarded to “state and public figures, citizens of the CSTO States and other countries ‘for active work on the development of interparliamentary cooperation between the CSTO Member States and active participation in activities of the CSTO PA and its bodies.’”
