The meeting of the heads of international affairs committees of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States will be held in Moscow on October 6. TASS reports that this was confirmed today by Leonid Kalashnikov, Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
“Yes, I will conduct it. After that, on October 7 the Foreign Minister [of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov] will gather deputy foreign ministers of the CSTO Member States. We will continue this meeting there,” Mr Kalashnikov said when answering the question about the meeting.
He noted that the event would have a busy agenda and that it would be held on October 6 in the State Duma in face-to-face format.
