The Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization has started forming a delegation of observers to monitor the referendum on the draft Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Talant Mamytov, Toraga (Speaker) of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, asked Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, to assist in sending a delegation of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly to participate in international monitoring of the Referendum on the draft Constitution of the Republic.
The delegation will consist of representatives of the parliaments of the CSTO Member States and representatives of the CSTO PA Secretariat.
Observers will be accredited before April 7, 2021 by the Central Commission on Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As you may recall, Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, signed the law On Holding the Referendum (Popular Vote) on the Draft Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, to be held on April 11, 2021.
