Legislative development and military and political situation monitoring: a meeting of the heads of the CSTO and Parliamentary Assembly secretariats

Stanislav Zas, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, held a working meeting with Sergei Pospelov, CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Executive Secretary. Samat Ordabayev, CSTO deputy Secretary General, also took part in the meeting.
The CSTO Secretary General and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Executive Secretary discussed the implementation of the 2021–2025 CSTO PA Action Plan on Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of the CSTO Member States, holding a meeting of the Coordination Council of Chairpersons of Committees (Commissions) on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States under the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on the premises of the CSTO Joint Staff and promotion of the Organization’s partner and observer modalities.
CSTO Member States’ effective interaction under the CSTO Collective Security Council Declaration of December 2, 2020 to improve public health was discussed specifically.
The CSTO Member States continue to share experience in preventing and combating infectious diseases, expert training and improving the emergency monitoring and response system.
