Russian Snipers Undergo Training at the Kamkhud Training Ground in Armenia
The personnel of the sniper infantry company of the military base of the Southern Military District are continuing training at the Kamkhud high-mountain training range in Armenia.
The servicemen have studied tasks related to the observer's duties. During the training, they mastered working with optical observation means and determined routes and movement techniques.
The snipers learned about methods of providing fire cover using various types of weapons, methods of camouflage and covering of tracks on the route, as well as the design of a shooting position and its engineering equipment. They also learned how to conduct terrain observation and report on these operations.
Besides, the snipers practised organizing interaction between groups and maintaining stable radio communications using the R-187-P1 Azart radio station and the R-438 satellite station.
