Sergei Lavrov discussed international situation with CSTO parliamentarians

On February 1, Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, met with parliamentarians of the CSTO Member States at the Russian Foreign Ministry’s House of Receptions.

“CSTO’s parliamentary dimension is an important facet of the Organization that brings the positions of our states closer together,” Sergei Lavrov noted at the meeting.

As you may recall, this morning, February 1, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation hosted the second meeting of the Chairpersons of the Committees of the Parliaments of the CSTO States on Foreign affairs, Defence and Security. During the meeting the participants discussed the military and political situation in their regions of the CSTO area of responsibility.
