CSTO PA Council meeting and the 14th Plenary Session to be held on November 29

The meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the 14th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held remotely on November 29, 2021 and chaired by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The CSTO PA Council will consider draft model laws On Peacekeeping Activities and Peacekeeping Forces and On Information Security, as well as a number of other draft model legislative acts that were developed in accordance with the 2021–2025 CSTO PA Action Plan on Approximation and Harmonization of National Legislation of the CSTO Member States.

Stanislav Zas, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, will report on progress in implementing decisions of the CSTO Collective Security Council and on the military and political situation in the Organization’s area of responsibility.

Participants of the meeting will be briefed on the priorities of the Republic of Armenia for the period of its presidency in the Collective Security Treaty Organization in 2022.
