Speaker of the Kyrgyz parliament presents CSTO PA awards

Nurlanbek Shakiev, Speaker of the Kyrgyz Jogorku Kenesh, has presented awards of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.

MPs Baktybek Sydykov, Elmurza Satybaldiyev, Akylbek Tumonbayev, Marlen Mamataliyev and Ulan Bakasov were awarded medals For Strengthening Parliamentary Cooperation Within the CSTO.

MPs Daniyar Tolonov, Amankan Kenzhebayev, Leyla Lurova, Gulkan Moldobekova, Zamirbek Mamasadykov, Kunduzbek Sulaimanov and Alisher Erbayev were awarded CSTO PA Certificates of Merit.

Nurlanbek Shakiyev congratulated the awardees and noted their great contribution to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

As you may recall, CSTO PA Medal and Certificate of Merit are awarded to state and public figures, citizens of the CSTO Member States as well as citizens of other states “for active work on development of inter-parliamentary cooperation of CSTO Member States, active participation in activities of the CSTO PA and its bodies.”

Similar activities are carried out in other parliaments of the CSTO Member States. Decision on the awards was adopted on December 5, 2022 in Moscow at the Council meeting and 15th plenary meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
