.Life poses new challenges and threats to our peoples, but only together are we strong, Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General, said at the plenary session of the international parliamentary conference Historical Memory: The Great Victory Obtained Through Unity, BelTA informs.
“The issues we are discussing today are very important for all of us and for our peoples. And they are important not only from the spiritual and moral point of view, but also to better understand the recent history of modern Europe and understand certain political realities of our days,” said Stanislav Zas.
The CSTO Secretary General stressed: the Great Victory was achieved thanks to the efforts of all the nations united in the anti-Hitler coalition. “We are currently living in a difficult time. Life poses new challenges and even threats to our peoples. There is no doubt that every nation will overcome these challenges, but we must remember this lesson – together we are strong. Of course, guided by this historical lesson, we must support and develop the integration associations that exist in our Eurasian space.”
