Anatoly Suprunovsky: Joint Work of the CSTO Countries Has Great Potential

On June 26, a meeting of the CSTO PA Council’s Expert Advisory Board was held within the framework of the XII St. Petersburg Legal Forum. 

Anatoly Suprunovsky, Deputy Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation - Chief State Inspector of the Russian Federation for Fire Supervision, addressed the participants of the meeting.

"Over 14 years of cooperation, the Russian EMERCOM has developed five recommendations on harmonization of CSTO Member States’ legislation in the field of emergency response, ensuring security of critical facilities and cross-border cooperation in case of natural and man-made emergencies," the Deputy Minister said.

Anatoly Suprunovsky also emphasized that firefighters and rescuers of the CSTO Member States efficiently cooperate and successfully accomplish the assigned tasks.
