CSTO improves the system of technical protection of railways
In Minsk, the third session of the inter-state working group for implementing measures to create a common system of technical protection of railways of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States discusses building upon the achieved results in the creation of the common system of technical protection of the CSTO Member States’ railways.
In an interview to BelTA, Colonel Aleksandr Mosolov, first deputy Chief of Support Services of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Chief of Staff of the Support Services, said, “The issues scheduled for discussion are an integral part of collective security. The common railway framework of the CSTO Member States is the foundation for the effective use of troops (forces) in the interests of our countries; that is why the role of railways and their sustainable operation within the system of transport support is of paramount importance nowadays.”
