Delegation of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan to the CSTO PA consists of 6 deputies of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and 6 deputies of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At a briefing today, Nurlan Abdirov, head of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced the Central Election Commission’s results. Six parties are in parliament, with the country’s largest party, Amanat, leading with 53.9% of the vote.
The People’s Democratic Patriotic Party Auyl (10.9%), Respublica (8.59%), the People’s Party of Kazakhstan (6.8%), the Aq Jol Democratic Party of Kazakhstan (8.41%) and the All-National Social Democratic Party (5.2%) surpassed the 5% threshold.
The CEC also reported on how the mandates are divided among the parties in the new composition of the Mazhilis. In all, the Mazhilis has 98 deputies. The Amanat party received 40 seats, Auyl – 8, Aq Jol and Respublica – 6 each, the PPK – 5 and the ANSDP – 4; 29 deputies were elected from single-seat constituencies.
As you may recall, on March 19 Kazakhstan held the early elections to the Mazhilis and maslikhats with a 54.21% turnout. A delegation from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly monitored the preparation and conduct of the parliamentary elections. The Opinion published on the official website paodkb.org states that the elections have been held in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international standards.
