Vasily Piskarev: Indivisible Security is the Foundation of a Multipolar World
Speaking at the Russia-Latin America international conference, Vasily Piskarev, Chairman of the State Duma Commission on Investigation of Foreign State Interference in the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, proposed to intensify work on the development of coordinated positions on the most pressing issues of international security on international platforms.
“Indivisible security is the basis of a multipolar world, in which the system of international relations is built on mutual respect, trust between countries, sovereign equality of states and non-interference in their internal affairs,” Vasily Piskarev said.
The MP cited specific examples of foreign interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation and expressed readiness to actively participate in the international exchange of best legislative practices and law enforcement experience.
Earlier, the parliamentarian shared the results of cooperation on electoral security issues with his colleagues in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. He recalled that at the September CSTO exercises in Belarus it was noted that the Assembly’s proposals formed the basis of the draft Concept of the National Security Strategy of the Republic of Belarus.
