Volodin: the Russia-Latin America Conference Intensified Inter-Parliamentary Contacts

On October 2, Moscow hosted a plenary session of the Russia-Latin America International Parliamentary Conference titled Cooperation for a Just Peace for All.

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Speaker of the State Duma, said that the parliaments of Russia and Latin America would do everything possible to overcome sanctions and build a multipolar world.

He recalled that relations with Latin American countries are built on the principles of mutual respect, non-interference in the affairs of sovereign states and mutually beneficial cooperation.

“Let this be the basis for our future meetings and the search for new forms of parliamentary dimension, so that we develop not only relations between our countries, but also do everything possible to overcome sanctions, to build a multipolar world, a fair world order,” he added.
