Vladimir Bulavin: CSTO Collective Forces Have Shown a High Level of Coordination
On September 11, participants of the Coordination Meeting of Chairpersons of Committees on Defence and Security of the CSTO Parliaments monitored the Vzaimodeistvie–2024 command-and-staff military exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Balykchy.
Vladimir Bulavin, Chairman of the Committee on Defence and Security of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, shared his observations of the exercises, noting that the CSTO Collective Forces showed a high level of coordination.
“These military exercises are similar to conducting a counter-terrorist operation. Everything was carried out quite clearly, the participants used all possible modern technical means. The servicemen can certainly be given an excellent grade. But one thing is clear: in real combat conditions, it is necessary to aim for a grade higher to achieve good results,” said Vladimir Bulavin.
