Vyacheslav Volodin greeted the participants of the Kazan International Congress of Eurasian Integration
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, sent a welcome address to the Kazan International Congress of Eurasian Integration.
The welcome address was read out by Leonid Kalashnikov, co-chair of the Congress, Chairman of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
“The Kazan International Congress of Eurasian Integration is important for the EAEU Member States and strengthens inter-parliamentary cooperation,” said Vyacheslav Volodin, CSTO PA Chairman, in his welcome address. “You are tasked with developing recommendations on deepening integration processes in the interests of the EAEU Member States and their citizens,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
Leonid Kalashnikov, Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, took an active part in the work of the Congress.
Among the Congress’ speakers was Mikhail Krotov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and deputy CSTO PA Executive Secretary.
The Congress is held under the auspices of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The purpose of the Kazan International Congress of Eurasian Integration 2021 is to establish academic platforms for Eurasian integration, create a standing expert and analytical venue uniting the efforts of the government, academia, the real economy and public organizations in promoting Eurasian integration processes, to develop recommendations on optimizing integration processes and institutionalizing a common social, humanitarian and cultural framework in Eurasia.
