Vyacheslav Volodin presents awards to Combat Brotherhood veterans

On Internationalist Soldier Day, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Speaker of the State Duma, presented awards to members of the Russian national public veteran organization Combat Brotherhood.

According to the State Duma website, he thanked the veterans “for their heroism, devotion to the Motherland and loyalty to military comradeship.” Vyacheslav Volodin said that a retreat session under his leadership was planned at Combat Brotherhood premises, which will consider the development of and assistance to veteran organizations.

“You do a lot to support veterans, patriotic education of youth, preservation of historical truth,” the Chairman of the CSTO PA said.

Representatives of Combat Brotherhood, Afghanistan Veterans Union, Paratroopers Union, Heroes Club, as well as relevant committees of the State Duma are expected to participate in the retreat session.
